Community begins with people and the small conversations we have together about big issues. We need to take time to genuinely listen and care for one another. As your elected representative, my commitment to you is finding creative solutions in the best interest of our City, and working towards building a community that respects diversity, values inclusivity, and ensures all feel welcome and heard. I am here to listen and am just a phone call away. My priorities this term include:
- lobbying senior levels of government to advocate for more investment in affordable housing solutions for essential service providers;
- encouraging TransLink to expedite rapid transit initiatives to and from the North Shore;
- leveraging available provincial funding to develop infant-to-school age childcare facilities and after-school care programming;
- supporting the approval of a climate and environment strategy to build the City’s climate resiliency and reduce its carbon footprint;
- reducing barriers to business growth and exploring the development of employment ‘hubs’;
- expanding tourism and cultural opportunities by promoting the City’s cultural diversity; and
- continuing to work collaboratively with Squamish Nation and Tsleil-Waututh Nation governments to meet our shared priorities.

Biography
I moved to Vancouver in 1993 to attend UBC and graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Agricultural Economics), and later completed UBC’s Sauder School of Business’ Rental Property Management, Strata Management and Managing Broker courses.
Since moving to North Vancouver in 2002, I established a licensed strata management company that served hundreds of homeowners on the North Shore and beyond. I later joined the Real Estate Council of British Columbia to investigate complaints and guide policy to protect the public regarding rental property and strata management services. I have solid expertise in budgeting and financial management, resolving disputes, understanding bylaws, and advocating on behalf of homeowners.
My community involvement has included six years on the Board of L’Arche Greater Vancouver, one year on the Board of St. Edmund’s Elementary School, volunteering at Ridgeway Elementary, and music ministry with St. Paul’s Indian Catholic Church. During my first term on Council, I served on several City committees, including the CNV4Me Youth Task Force, and as a Commissioner for the North Vancouver Rec & Culture Commission.
