As the weather gets warmer, the risk of fire in our forests increases. We have a shared responsibility to make choices that don’t result in fires.
The Current Fire Danger Rating is BC’s official risk of a forest fire starting. The higher the risk, the more careful and vigilant we all have to be. Visit the BC Wildfire Activity Fire Danger webpage for more information.

A MODERATE fire rating means that forest fuels are drying and there's an increased risk that surface fires could start and spread.
