Transition to New Facility
Silver Harbour members will continue to have full access to the current facility and programs during the construction period.
The existing Silver Harbour building will cease operations in their existing facility when the new building is ready to be occupied. For more information about Silver Harbour’s programs and services, please visit the Silver Harbour Seniors’ Activity Centre website.
Construction Impacts
Ongoing construction impacts can be expected in the vicinity of the existing Silver Harbour Seniors’ Activity Centre until the new facility is completed. Disruptions may include noise, vibrations, and traffic delays.
In order to minimize construction-related impacts and unnecessary disruptions, a communications and traffic management plan has been put in place to inform and update nearby residents and business of construction activities.
The new state-of-the-art facility will be welcoming and inclusive, offering a variety of activities and amenities to the community. Its location adjacent to the new Harry Jerome Community Recreation Centre will help maintain important connections to the new recreation centre’s programs and activities.
