Great Grand Boulevard Pumpkin Walk
No tricks, just treats here! Join us at the Great Grand Boulevard Pumpkin Walk on Saturday, October 29 between 4 and 7pm.
Put on your costume and sip some free hot cocoa while you check out over 200 jack-o-lanterns along Grand Boulevard, carved by City youth. The event takes place rain or shine in Grand Boulevard Park, between 13th and 15th (view on Google Maps).
Halloween at The Shipyards
Join us at the Shipyards for spooky Halloween activities on Sunday, October 30 from 12 to 4pm.
Fun-filled activities for families and children such as arts & crafts. Workshops from the Vancouver Circus School will activate The Shipyards Commons.
Bring the entire family to watch performances from local student bands and dance troupes. Don't forget to grab a bite to eat from food trucks, and shop the vibrant businesses onsite.
Library Events
Stop by the North Vancouver City Library for Halloween-themed events on several days:
Adopt a Pumpkin with the RCMP
Stop by Stella Jo Dean Plaza on Saturday, October 29, 1-3pm, to adopt a pumpkin, start filling your treat bags, and meet your local police officers and firefighters! Community partners joining the North Vancouver RCMP include Community Policing Volunteers, and the City and District of North Vancouver Fire Rescue. Learn more on the RCMP website.
Goodbye Pumpkin
After Halloween is over, you can either recycle your pumpkin in the Green Can, or come by Fire Hall No.1 on Saturday, November 5, 10am-4pm, for a Pumpkin Drop. Bring a pumpkin and watch it being thrown from the hose tower! The North Vancouver City Firefighters' Charitable Association will be accepting donations for Buddy Check for Jesse, to help destigmatize mental health challenges.
