New navigational categories are now in place on the City's website. This is just the first step in our improvements. We're committed to creating a better website experience in 2023 - stay tuned!
We’re making improvements to the City’s website. We know the navigation categories and search aren’t as helpful as they should be, and you confirmed this in our recent Let’s Talk survey.
Our first step is to revise the main navigation categories that you see on every page of the website. These changes will take place before the end of 2022, taking advantage of the reduced traffic to our website over the holidays. During this time, you may notice the website is temporarily slower than usual.
The new categories do a better job of grouping the types of work that we do at the City, making it easier to find information you need.
Early in 2023, we’ll be improving our search function too, so you’ll get more useful results regardless of the type of information you’re looking for.
More improvements to the navigation and content will come later in the year. Stay tuned!
