Volunteer for a Committee and Help Shape Your Community

The City of North Vancouver is now accepting volunteer applications for several Council Committees. Committees are essential in shaping city policies, projects, and initiatives, providing advice to City Council on key civic matters such as housing affordability, community safety, infrastructure, social services, and public education. 

Committee Opportunities

The City is currently seeking volunteer members for the following committees:

• Advisory Design Panel
• Advisory Planning Commission
• Board of Variance
• Community Safety Advisory Committee
• Heritage Advisory Commission
• Integrated Transportation Committee
• North Shore Advisory Committee on Disability Issues
• North Vancouver City Library Board
• North Vancouver Museum and Archives Commission
• Social Planning Advisory Committee

Application Deadline

Applications for current vacancies are due November 15, 2024, by noon. To apply, please visit cnv.org/Volunteer and complete the online application form.
