The City is now accepting applications for the 2024 Children and Youth Initiatives Fund. Since 1998, the Children and Youth Initiatives Fund has provided grants to support events, programs, and projects for children and youth in the City of North Vancouver.
Are you between the ages of 12-21 with a great idea for an event, club or project?
We can bring your idea to life with up to $500 in grant funding. We’ve supported initiatives like a safe space colouring club, computer coding classes, and a sustainable gardening workshop event. The grant may be used to cover expenses such as building rental, equipment rentals, publicity, entertainment, and/or refreshments.
Are you a local non-profit, community group or agency that supports local youth?
We can assist in funding up to $3000 for youth focused projects, existing programs, or events! Previous recipients have received support for mentorship initiatives, 2SLGBTQIA+ clubs, wellness resources, and more. Grants may be used to cover staffing costs and/or program expenses.
